I know this is pretty bizarre, but sometimes when I walk into a person's house I instantly love the unique scent it has. Other times, I hate it. But usually I feel neutral, especially if it's at a place I'm not familiar with. I would never say "Dude, your house stinks!"

I almost feel guilty for the smells that appeal to my senses. Society tells us we're supposed to be grossed out by a couple of these things:

Pepsi/Coke combined with alcoholic beverages

Alcoholic beverages combined with cheese

Grass or wet plant life

Dried autumn Leaves

Old lady perfume

Fast food

Flowers

Rain

Coffee

Bakeries

Chlorine

Chocolate

Baby Powder

Italian Food

Breakfast Food

Some of these smells are linked with a pleasant nostalgia, like the feeling of a good memory. They remind me of having fun at family reunions or get-togethers. They remind me of people I love, or places I love for their atmosphere or their delicious food.
